Pentecost

Welcome!

Pentecost calls us to realize our own discipleship in light of the community of faith-the Church. Our readings bring the experience of the early church when those locked in an isolated place in fear were given the courage of the Holy Spirit as Jesus himself had promised. The video by Rob Bell "Breathe" is an all time favorite but looking at it during this time of Pandemic may bring new insights. The Agape Latte video tells the experiences of Brian Robinette in a time of his own transitions in "When Life Gets Messy".

We hope you can join us for our  small group ZOOM gathering.

Sunday readings for Pentecost- weekend of May 30-31   READINGS

Please watch the following video(s) and reflect on the questions for our discussion:

Breathe

Given your experience of the Pandemic, name one experience of the Holy Spirit where you are aware of the Holy Spirit through the seven gifts, the fruits or within yourself?

Is there anything you need to: breathe in, breathe out, need for guidance?

When Life is Messy

After hearing Brian's story...
Can you relate to his sense of loss and confusion to move in a more authentic path from your own life?  How does this speak to the movement of the Spirit in one's life?

Brian had a specific call to silence...
Can you see how transition creates space for change and growth in one's life? How have you been called to "spaces" for silence and listening to make important decisions in your own life? either in the past of present?
